ISSi welcomes Dr. Jeff Daniels to our team. Dr. Daniels is a recognized leader in human health and ecological risk and hazard assessments. He has over 25 years experience in risk analysis at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and held appointments at several universities as a guest lecturer. He has developed standards for chemical and biological compounds, radionuclides, and technologically advanced materials, and served on committees for the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE), National Academies of Science (NAS), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). He has been an advisor to the Canadian Department of Defence (DND) and an invited speaker at symposia of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Dr. Daniels’ expertise expands ISSi’s risk assessment capability and provides an additional resource for our industry and government clients. Currently, Dr. Daniels is providing senior scientific leadership in risk analysis and a crucial technical interface with the regulatory community for the National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) at its Ames Research Center (ARC) in Mountain View, CA.
