ISSi 2009 Community Award Winners

9/11/2009

Integrated Science Solutions Inc. (ISSi) is proud to announce our 2009 Community Award recipients. We promote a work environment that fosters new ideas, high quality products, job satisfaction, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Part of that environment is acknowledging the efforts our employees put into volunteering in their communities. ISSi encourages employees through our volunteer paid time off program, to take a stake in their communities and work with not-for-profit organizations. In an effort to recognize employees' community involvement, annually ISSi solicits community bonus award recommendations from employees. The sponsoring employee must be an active participant/member of the organization they are proposing. ISSi awards $1000 to $2000 community awards to the non-profit organization in the name of the employee.

Our 2009 awardees are:

  • International Space University, Arlington, Virginia
  • Livermore High School Boys Lacrosse Team, Livermore, California
  • Wounded Warriors Project, Topeka, Kansas
  • John Swett Elementary School PTA, Martinez, California
  • Women Impacting Public Policy, Washington, D.C.
  • Central Middle School PTA, San Carlos, California
  • Women Business Enterprise National Council, Washington D.C.

"I would like to commend all of our employees who dedicate so much time and effort out of their busy lives to support their communities. Thank you enhancing my community through your efforts and congratulations to our Community Award winners." said Cecelia McCloy, President of ISSi.
