Integrated Science Solutions, Inc. 2003 Community Award Program
10/1/2003 Integrated Science Solutions Inc. (ISSi) is a small, quality science and engineering company. Our employees are a significant reason we are successful. We promote a work environment that fosters new ideas, high quality products, job satisfaction, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Part of that environment is acknowledging the efforts our employees put into volunteering in their communities. ISSi encourages employees to take a stake in their communities and work with not-for-profit organizations. In an effort to recognize employees' community involvement, annually ISSi solicits community bonus award recommendations from employees. The sponsoring employee must be an active participant/member of the organization they are proposing. ISSi awards $1000 community awards to the non-profit organization in the name of the employee.
Our 2003 awardees are:
Watershed Center- Grand Traverse Bay, WI - This organization promotes watershed education, provides leadership in environmental and watershed maintenance promotes research for protection of bay and watershed, and monitors the environmental state of the bay. An ISSi employee is currently on the Board of Directors.
John Swett School PTA, Martinez, CA - The PTA supports students enhancement projects and supports additional education assistance. An ISSi employee is a member and current Treasurer.
Soundwave Center for Hearing Impaired Children, Foster City, CA – The Center provides auditory and verbal therapy to severally hearing impaired or deaf children. Center works to keep these children mainlined in the public school system. An ISSi employee works in the classroom to support these children.
Cal Sailing Club, Berkeley, CA – The Club is a non-profit sailing cooperative providing the community with affordable access to sailing instruction. An ISSi employee serves as an instructor.
